Terms & Conditions

You may notice on most websites, there is “fine print,” usually found in the footer. Typically, it’s there to help provide some protections for the business and be in compliance with laws and regulations that govern the internet (yep, that’s actually a thing).

If you’d like to generate this “fine print” for your website, you can hire a lawyer to draw it up for you, or you can also use an online terms generator.

While I am not a lawyer and can’t give you professional or legal advice, I would like to provide information about my experience as a courtesy. I do this because, in most cases, I’ve found my clients aren’t aware that website terms are even a thing! And usually people appreciate the info.

If you decide to use a terms generator, the one that was recommended to me by several people and that I’ve had a great experience with is called:

Get Terms (this is my affiliate link)

It costs $149 one-time for the comprehensive policy pack (as of the time of this writing), and that includes lifetime access to updates, as internet laws/regulations are always evolving.

PS I found myself recommending Get Terms so much that I decided to become an affiliate, so be aware that if you use my link, I get a small commission. I would recommend them either way, but I just wanted to be transparent!
